Your appeal note
Edit the bracketed parts, then paste it into the text box in Google's appeal tool. Google says you can only submit an appeal once, so get it right before you send it.
What to expect
- Google reviews the appeal and emails you its decision. Google doesn't publish a review time. Business owners report waits from a few days to several weeks.
- While you wait, don't create a new profile for the same business. Google says not to.
- If your whole Google account is restricted, that has to be fixed before the profile can be appealed.
- If the appeal is denied, Google may take another look if you send more evidence. A second identical appeal usually won't help.

FAQ
Google profile suspension questions
What does the $49 diagnosis include?
Your full results: the most likely causes of your suspension based on your answers, a step-by-step fix plan in the right order, the documents to gather, and a draft appeal note you can edit and send. It's an automated report built from your answers, not a manual review of your profile. If you go on to hire us for the Done-For-You service, the $49 is credited toward it.
Is the $49 refundable?
If something went wrong with your purchase or the report didn't work for you, email support@topmethods.com and we'll sort it out with you. Our general Terms of Service also apply.
When do I pay for Done-For-You, and how do refunds work?
You pay when you sign up, through Stripe's secure checkout: $499, or $450 if you already bought the $49 diagnosis. We then fix your profile and file the appeal. If Google hasn't reinstated your profile within 30 days of our final appeal, email support@topmethods.com and we refund the full Done-For-You payment to your card. Refunds usually show up in 5 to 10 business days.
Can you guarantee my profile will be reinstated?
No. Only Google decides whether a profile is reinstated, and no one can promise an outcome. That's why the Done-For-You service comes with a money-back promise: you pay $499 up front ($450 if you already bought the $49 diagnosis), and if your profile isn't reinstated within 30 days of our final appeal, we refund the full amount you paid us for it.
How long does it take?
It varies, and Google controls the timeline. Fixing your profile and gathering documents usually takes a few days on our side. Google's review can take anywhere from a few days to several weeks, and sometimes longer if they ask for more evidence.
What documents will I need?
Usually: proof your business is registered (for example, your NC Secretary of State record), a utility bill or lease showing your business name and the address on your profile, photos of your storefront and permanent signage (or your branded vehicle and equipment if you travel to customers), and any business or professional license. Your diagnosis and your upload page list exactly what applies to you. Names and addresses should match your profile.
How do I send you my documents?
After you pay for the Done-For-You service, you get a personal, private upload link. It shows your checklist and lets you upload PDFs and photos. Files are stored privately and only the Top Methods team can see them. Please don't email sensitive documents unless we ask.
Do you need my Google password?
No. Never share your password. You add Top Methods as a manager on your Business Profile, which you can remove at any time. If you'd rather not, you can make the changes yourself and we'll guide you.
What's the difference between “suspended,” “disabled,” and “limited”?
Google uses different wording for different situations. A suspended profile is usually removed from Maps and Search until it's reviewed. A disabled profile has been found to break Google's guidelines, and you may no longer be able to manage it. Some profiles stay visible but are limited or restricted, for example you can't edit them or they show less. If your whole Google account is restricted, that has to be fixed first. The exact message in your Business Profile dashboard or Google's email tells you which one applies, and the checker asks about it.
Are you affiliated with Google?
No. Top Methods is an independent local marketing company in Greensboro, NC. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and we can't speed up Google's review.
My appeal was already denied. Can you still help?
Often, yes. Google may take another look if the underlying issue is fixed and you send stronger evidence. Sending the same appeal again usually won't help. Take the checker and choose “denied” on the last question so your plan reflects that, or request the Done-For-You service and we'll review what was sent.
